Greetings BSDForAll, Lecturify, OddProtocol, and PlanetOfNix,

I spoke with Josh from DataIdeas today and found out that we can get a
lower price if we pay together as a group instead of individual accounts.

Josh offered us a final price of $310/month for all our equipment (our 5
servers plus router, switch, and subnet) if we are willing to have one
single account make the payment. He said that the costs of setting up 5
separate accounts with WHMCS, as well as having to pay 5 transaction
fees for each credit card payment, forced him to increase his fees for
us.

We are currently paying: $70/month for each team (x5 teams), plus IRCNow
has to pay $47.75/month for /24 IPv4 subnet, router, and switch.

If we take advantage of the discounted price, each team would lower its
costs by $7.50. IRCNow would also be able to save $47.75/month. Our
total savings (across all teams) would be $87.75/month.

Teams that are paying for their servers will continue to have the right
to manage their servers and billing independently without needing to ask
me. The only difference is that instead of paying Josh directly, you
would pay me, and I would group it together and pay Josh. Each team
would still have access to the serial console (spider), but they would
not have access to WMHCS (the billing panel). Instead, you would email
Josh directly. For this minor inconvenience, we could save $87.75/month.

I would like for us to take advantage of this opportunity. Can you please
reply to this email to let me know if you are OK with this proposal? If
so, we can begin applying it for the month of January.
