Commencing January 1st, 2023; BSDForAll operates as "A Decentralized Freedom Frontier Network"
with its own Terms, Policy and Goals; among the IRCNow Network Affiliates.
Nevertheless, BSDForAll may endeavor to incorporate existing IRCNow corresponding methodologies wherever practical or relevant.

BSDForAll

Free OpenBSD SHELLs,
Free ZNC IRC Bouncers,
Free Email Accounts, as well as
Free OpenBSD Trainings.

BSDForAll
also offers the following for 'Rental or For-Hire' basis:
Virtual Private Server (VPS),
Extra Storage (HDD).

also serves as a platform for Freedom of Sharing Knowledge and Informations.

DALNet allows up to four (4) connections per person,
KampungChat allows up to twenty (20) connections per person,
Running Tor is not allowed. (BSDForAll has its own Tor Onion URL for use).


No malicious bot or malicious network activity,
No port scanning without permission,
Torrents are not allowed,
No activities illegal in the USA,
No crypto-currency miners (Crypto-currency mining is not allowed),
No Tor Exit Nodes and/or Relays.

BSDForAll
supports user privacy by allowing users to connect to most 'Services' anonymously.
No real name or phone number is required for most 'Services', and users can often connect via Tor.

However, some 'Services' will require your email address.
We will also log your IP address and other account metadata such as user agent information.
We scan IP addresses for open proxies. This data is stored permanently to allow us to combat spam and abuse.
If you have special privacy needs, you are welcome to contact staff for an exception. We can make privacy exceptions for users after an interview.

BSDForAll
does not log IRC chats.
Staff members, however, have access to metadata described such as which networks and channels your bouncer is joined to.
This metadata is used to prevent abuse.
We allow users to log public channels and their own private messages.
Emails and files you store on our storage service may be archived permanently.
Staff will have access to emails and files.

BSDForAll
uses cookies to allow you to log in to our 'Services'.

BSDForAll
may investigate VPS(es) in response to abuse reports.

BSDForAll
does not sell any personal information to third-parties.
However, BSDForAll
reserves the right to file abuse reports for users who maliciously abuse our network.

BSDForAll
will delete material that is proven to be libelous or illegal.
Users may not publish personally identifiable information about another user without consent except to report those who have violated network rules.

observes the following 'Backup Policy' for its 'Services':

By using our 'Services', you acknowledge and agree that the use of such 'Services' is at your own risk.
We recommend that you maintain your own offsite backup as an additional measure to ensure the safety and security of your data.

We shall perform backups on 'an as-is basis', without any warranties or guarantees regarding the completeness or accuracy of such backups.
It is your responsibility to verify the integrity of any data that is restored from our backups.

We shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or claims arising from the use or inability to use our backups.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any and all claims, damages, and expenses arising from
your use of our backups or your failure to maintain your own offsite backup.

With exception to 'Services' which are paid subscription (Example: VPS) which are under 'Rental or For-Hire' 'Services',
we shall provide backup as appropriate on 'an as-is basis'; ONLY for 'active/running' VPS/VM/QCOWS.

Current 'Backup' frequencies are as follows:
Monthly : On every 'First Day @ Day 1st' of a month at 00:00 hours
Bi-Monthly : On every 'Fifteen Day @ Day 15th' of a month at 00:00 hours

Current 'Restore' options are as follows (based on availability):
Monthly : Restore based on the latest or nearest 'Monthly Backup' frequencies (as above)
Bi-Monthly : Restore based on the latest or nearest 'Bi-Monthly Backup' frequencies (as above)

This 'Backup Policy' is subject to change at any time without notice.
It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically for any updates or changes.
Your continued use of our 'Services' constitutes your acceptance of any changes to this 'Backup Policy'.

Backup Retention:
Monthly : The monthly backup of every year shall be retained and accumulated towards the end of a particular year.
Annual : The most recent backup in December of a particular year shall be retained, and the rest shall be removed.

We shall provide necessary support for all BSDForAll hosted 'Services' and 'Users'.
We shall mainly provide support for BSDForAll 'Users' via 'Email' and/or 'IRC channels' (see below).
If you are 'User' with other 'IRCNow Team Affiliates', please contact your respective 'Support' Team Members.

Request for support via 'Email' and/or 'IRC channels' shall be attended by the next available BSDForAll Team Members; or
within 24 to 72 working hours (Monday to Friday).

We recommend 'Users' to hang-out in BSDForAll 'IRC channels' for any announcement or updates.
