nsprra valuable stuff - monsieur - 02-16-2024 find . -type f -name '*.mp3' -exec du -ch {} + |tail -1 RE: du - monsieur - 02-16-2024 mr nsprra valuable insights Code: <nsprra> you can modify the find command to find files matching certain criteria Thanks mate! I will learn more about this stuff and try to write a simple guide on the forums about that, cheers. RE: du - LemonYellow - 02-17-2024 hmm, interesting. I've been using a du command to calculate the space usage (without knowing anything beyond that). Is this not the same tool? du -s directory_name gives you the size of the directory. du -sh directory_name would give it in human-readable units. RE: nsprra valuable stuff - monsieur - 02-17-2024 Yeah it is I don't really know much about it, but this command lets me calculate space of all .mp3 files stored on my SDD RE: nsprra valuable stuff - monsieur - 02-17-2024 <nsprra> proof the god-damned jews run ChatGPT https://i.4cdn.org/pol/1708120295040924.jpg RE: nsprra valuable stuff - monsieur - 02-17-2024 [code]nsprra> well how about something fun?
